I’ve had a lot of people asking about this song recently, so I wanted to make this version available as a free download to get all my new friends listening to some my originals. I recorded this song in my home studio by myself, so it’s a rough cut, BUT I will be re-recording this song and others in Nashville next month for an upcoming album. Hey guys, I’m really terrible at updating my website. I’m busy recording and shooting videos of my originals. Here’s a cover I did of a Jason Aldean song called Fly Over States on the My Kinda Party album. This song is amazing. Shane Lee won the Atlanta Finals for the Texaco Country Showdown over the weekend, competing against 8 other Atlanta country artists. Shane will go on to compete in the regional finals in Cedartown, GA on Sept 17th, 2011 at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center. Next stop after that would be the finals in Nashville where the grand prize is $100,000.

It was a hot summer day, but with a nice breeze blowing throughout the show to provide some relief. Shane Lee was announced winner just before JT Hodges, Sonia Leigh, and Steel Magnolia performed later on in the show. Thanks to Kicks 101.5 for hosting the Last Blast of Summer concert. It was an amazing event just underneath the Stone Mountain carvings on the main lawn. If you’ve never been, you have to check out their new lazer show.
